Paige Rentfro, from the University of Alabama, was awarded the President’s Scholarship. Paige is a member of Phi Mu. She is a junior majoring in biology and is on the STEM path to her MBA. She serves her sorority as the vice president of personnel and is a past health and wellness officer. She is active in the University of Alabama SGA, serving as Director of Off-Campus Safety. She has also been a member of the Homecoming Camus Outreach Committee, the Homecoming Special Events Committee and is a member of the Society of Women in Medicine. She is consistently named to the Dean’s List and participates in the UA Honors College.
Katie McIntyre, from Auburn University, was also awarded a scholarship. Katie is a member and current president of Alpha Gamma Delta. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Innes McIntyre of Montgomery. Katie is a junior majoring in Finance. Katie has also served her sorority as vice president of Finance and Director of Activities. She is also active in the Auburn Student Government Association, serving as Assistant Director of Hey Day. She participates in the Auburn Honors College, and was a member of Freshman Forum. In addition, she has been tapped for Lambda Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa. Katie was recently named Miss Alabama USA first runner-up.
Alexandria Seirafi, from Birmingham-Southern College has also been awarded a scholarship. Alexandria is a member of Pi Beta Phi. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Reza Seirafi of Montgomery. She is a senior majoring in English, minoring in music, with a distinction in Leadership Studies. She has served her sorority as Vice President of Housing and Director of Recruitment. Alexandria also plays clarinet in the Birmingham Southern Jazz and Symphonic bands and is a member of the Association of Music Students. She has been tapped for Sigma Tau Delta and Mortar Board. She will be entering the University of Miami school of law in the fall.
Caroline Christie, from the University of Alabama is also a scholarship winner. Caroline is a member of Kappa Delta. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Christie of Montgomery. Caroline serves her sorority as the Vice President of Standards. She is a sophomore, majoring in General Business/Psychology on the Pre-Occupational Therapy track. Caroline is a member of the pre-occupational therapy society, Phi Eta Sigma, the Order of Omega and Rho Lambda.
