Macon East clinched the number one seed in the area with a win over Northside Methodist on Monday, followed by a win over Lee-Scott on Tuesday to improve their record to 29-6.

In Monday’s win, Madisyn Kennedy had 30 kills, two blocks and eight digs, Emily Brooks had two aces, eight kills, 31 assists and seven digs and Ariel Brown had 13 kills and three aces.

In Tuesday’s win over Lee-Scott, Brown had 13 kills and three digs, Kennedy had 11 kills, one ace and eight digs and Brooks had nine kills, four aces, 20 assists and eight digs.

Macon East is scheduled to play at Lakeside on Thursday.

Montgomery Academy 25-25-25, Catholic 10-8-14

Millie Stevenson had 31 assists and eight digs, Mary Gray Turner had nine kills and seven digs, Catherine Updegraff had eight kills and five blocks and Grace Jackson had 11 digs to lead Montgomery Academy (22-7) to a sweep of Catholic on Tuesday.

Marbury 25-18-15, PCA 13-25-10

PCA 22-26-15, Pike Road 25-24-10

Prattville Christian split a pair of matches earlier this week, falling to Marbury before rebounding on Tuesday with a win over Pike Road.

Jamie Johnson had 16 assists, two digs and one kill, Victoria Wheeler had 11 kills and two blocks, Juliana Lawrence had 24 assists, five kills, four digs and one ace and Lennon McAnnally had seven kills, six digs and one ace to lead the Panthers.

Dasha Dillard added three kills and one block, Angel Vinson had eight kills, seven digs and two aces, Emily Kamykowski had one kill, nine digs and three aces and Jenna Brooke Warlick had seven kills.

Trinity 25-25-25, LAMP 16-12-14

Lucy Williams had 14 kills, two blocks and four aces to lead Trinity (18-14) to a big area win over LAMP on Tuesday.

Hollister Dorey had five kills and three blocks and True Walker had 29 digs and five aces.
