The Prattville Christian Academy (PCA) volley team won the ECHS Tournament.

Prattville Christian Academy (PCA), won the Elmore County High School Volleyball Tournament over the weekend going 6-0 and without losing a set. The Panthers defeated Benjamin Russell twice, defeated Tallassee twice, defeated Stanhope Elmore and defeated Alabama Christian Academy for the Championship 27-25, 25-14.

For PCA Lennon McAnnally had 16 aces, 43 kills, 1 assist, 2 blocks, and 32 digs; Juliana Lawrence had 11 aces, 12 kills, 63 assists, 1 block, and 25 digs; Victoria Wheeler had 17 aces, 26 kills, 3 assists, 8 blocks, and 7 digs; Sydney Jorgensen had 5 aces and 35 digs; Emily Kamykowski had 5 aces, 1 kill, 1 assist, and 43 digs; Jacey Haynes had 15 kills, 7 blocks, and 2 digs; Chloe Steakley had 1 block and 1 dig; Hannah Jones had 14 kills, 1 assist, 8 blocks, and 1 dig; Sydney West had 1 kill, 1 block, and 1 dig; Jamie Johnson had 5 aces, 15 kills, 41 assists, 5 blocks, and 15 digs. PCA is now 21-11.

"These girls showed real grit today in a couple of great come from behind, hard fought victories! They stayed mentally tough and focused throughout the day, not dropping a single set! I'm really proud of them for not letting up and finishing the day strong! It definitely shows what we're capable of." PCA coach Kaylon Cantrell said.
