Montgomery QB Club Players of the week (October 26)

Brandon Buck from Holtville High School and Thomas Hargrove from Trinity Presbyterian School were honored by the Montgomery Quarterback Club as Players of the Week at the Club's October 30 meeting. Former Auburn head coach Pat Dye and former Mississippi State head coach Sylvester Croom were the featured speakers. The Montgomery Quarterback Club has announced its Players of the Week for games of October 26. Barry Womack from Autauga Academy is the Private School Player of the Week and Trevor Robinson from Park Crossing High School is the Public School Player of the Week. Both players will be honored at the Club’s next meeting on Tuesday, November 13. Holly Rowe, ESPN reporter, will be the featured speaker at the Club’s Annual Ladies Night. The Club will not meet on November 6.

Barry Womack, a senior wide receiver, had 4 catches for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns in Autauga Academy’s 61-14 win over Glenwood Academy.

Autauga Academy, coached by Bobby Carr, is 9-1. Autauga Academy is ranked #1 in the latest Alabama Sportswriters Association poll of AISA schools.

Trevor Robinson, a junior quarterback, threw for a game-tying touchdown in the fourth quarter and ran nine yards for the go-ahead touchdown in overtime in the Park Crossing 21-20 win over Carver.

Park Crossing, coached by Angelo Wheeler, is 6-3 on the season.
