LAMP 55, Prattville Christian 52

Quinn Sloane scored 22 points and Micah Boone added 14 as the Tigers defeated Prattville Christian in the LAMP gym on Tuesday night.

Carson Roberson had a career-high 23 points for PCA (8-16), followed by Jacob Comer with 13 points and six rebounds, Coleman Hunter with eight points and eight rebounds and Tillman Makupson with eight points and seven rebounds. Camron Coleman dished out seven assists and Stillman Davis grabbed four rebounds.

LAMP (10-14) plays host to Autaugaville on Friday.

In the junior varsity game, Prattville Christian picked up its first win of the season with a 47-46 win over the Tigers. Cole Houston led the Panthers with 12 points and four steals, followed by Tanner Byrd and Conner Williams, each with 11 points and nine rebounds. PJ Evans added eight points, five assists and four steals and Brady Roberson added five points for PCA (1-11).

Macon East Academy 57, Northside Methodist 36

DOTHAN -- Chris Daniel scored 15 points to lead the Knights past Northside in an area game on Tuesday.

Jayman Pettway added 12 points and six assists and Jeremiah Carnegie had 10 points for Macon East (14-11), which plays host to Success Unlimited on Thursday.

Catholic 74, Reeltown 38

REELTOWN – Justin Bufford had 18 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocked shots to help Catholic to a 15-point halftime lead as the Knights cruised to a 36-point win on Tuesday night.

Johntavius Green added 10 points, four rebounds, two steals and seven assists, DJ Carter had nine points, six steals and four assists and Myles Butler had eight points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists for Catholic (21-4), which plays a road game with BTW Magnet on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Bullock County 68, Montgomery Academy 60

UNION SPRINGS -- Oliver Bear scored 24 points and dished out six assists for Montgomery Academy, but Bullock County was able to hold off the Eagles 68-60 in a 3A Area 5 game on Tuesday.

Britton Kohn added 12 points, five rebounds and five assists while William Norrell added 11 points, four steals and four rebounds.

Montgomery Academy (14-8) fell to 2-3 in area play and will play at Pike Road on Friday but the Eagles wrapped up the third seed in the upcoming area tournament regardless of Friday’s outcome, finishing behind Pike Road (4-1) and Bullock County (4-1) and ahead of St. James (0-5).


Montgomery Academy 64, Bullock County 22

UNION SPRINGS – Madi Caddell scored 20 points to lead Montgomery Academy to a 3A Area 5 victory at Bullock County on Tuesday.

Leighton Robertson and Julia Williams each scored 15 points for the Eagles, followed by Anaya Thomas with six points and six rebounds.

Montgomery Academy (18-4) improved to 4-1 in area play and will travel to Pike Road on Friday to face the unbeaten Patriots (5-0). Bullock County dropped to 0-5 in area play.

Prattville Christian 70, LAMP 18

Ella Jane Connell scored a career-high 34 points to lead Prattville Christian to an easy win over the Tigers in the LAMP gym on Tuesday night.

Jacey Haynes added 11 points, eight rebounds and four steals, followed by CoCo Thomas with eight points, five rebounds and four steals and Hannah Jones added four points and eight rebounds. Chelsea Mulliner and Avery Rogers each scored four points, Tori DeMaio had six assists and six steals and Leighton Johnson and Naomi Taake each grabbed four rebounds as PCA improved to 23-1 with the win.

LAMP (2-18) will play host to Autaugaville on Friday night.

Abbeville Christian 42, Evangel Christian 28

ABBEVILLE – Zaria Johnson had nine points and 13 rebounds for Evangel Christian but the Lions couldn’t overcome the Generals in a Class A Region 1 Area 2 game in the ACA gym.

Evangel Christian (10-13) dropped to 1-2 in area play and will travel to Eastwood on Friday for another area game.

Northside Methodist 49, Macon East 41

DOTHAN – Macon East trailed by just a point entering the fourth quarter but couldn’t rally late in falling to Northside Methodist 49-41 in a AAA Region 1 Area 2 game on Tuesday.

Maddie Ross led the Knights with 14 points, hitting a pair of 3-pointers to keep Macon East close throughout the first three quarters. Georgia Blaze added eight points, five rebounds and three steals, Emily Nickles finished with seven points and Kerry Straw had 13 rebounds to go with six points.

Macon East plays host to Success Unlimited on Thursday.
