ACA 57, Catholic 27

Alabama Christian defeated Catholic 57-27 to improve to 12-7 on the year and 2-1 in the Area. Josie Barlow led the Eagles with 17 points and 4 rebounds. Lindsey Glass collected 12 points and 3 rebounds. Michaelyn Manning scored 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Catholic was led by Donisha Boyd with 7 points. Alanna Aiken and Ella Newell had 5 points each.

Prattville Christian 53, Southside Selma 29

Kaitlyn Reyes put on an offensive show and led PCA with 28 points while also grabbing 9 rebounds. Ella Jane Connell recorded her first double-double of her career with 17 points and 11 rebounds. She also added 5 assists. Tori DeMaio had 4 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals. PCA improves to 15-7 on the season and 1-0 in area play.

Boys

Prattville Christian 81, Southside Selma 26

BJ Comer came out of the gates on fire as he scored 20 of his 24 points in the first half to lead PCA to victory. He also dished out 7 assists. Ben Segars added 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Cooper Meadows had 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jacob Comer added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Tillman Makupson had 9 points and 6 rebounds. Preston Cox had 4 points and 7 rebounds as PCA improves to 19-3 on the season and 1-0 in area play.

Catholic 61, ACA 34

Montgomery Catholic romped over Alabama Christian on the road with a convincing area win 61-34. The Knights did not shoot particularly well with the exception of 5 successful shots beyond the arc by Pat Ryan, who led Catholic with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Jalen Fountain, Jalen Thomas and Myles Butler all had 10 points. Fountain also had 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Butler tallied 4 steals in the contest. Jalen Clark led ACA with 11 points. The Knights are now 6-8.
