The ninth annual LAMP High School Hall of Fame Banquet will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 305 South Perry Street at 6:00 p.m. The Hall of Fame Banquet not only recognizes outstanding LAMP graduates and educators; it also serves as the major fundraiser to support LAMP students’ participation in a wide range of academic competitions.
Each year’s banquet raises funds to support competitive academic teams including Scholar’s Bowl, Debate, Science Bowl, Science Olympiad, LAMP Invitational Model United Nations (LIMUN), Youth in Government, and Robotics. LAMP students count on this fundraiser to provide the funds that are needed to support their participation on these academic teams that compete both regionally and nationally. The goal of the Hall of Fame event is to provide an environment that affords all LAMP students the opportunity to compete.
