Actor and Screenwriter Taylor Turner returns to Montgomery Academy

Last week, Montgomery Academy welcomed screenwriter and actor Taylor Turner (Class of 2011) back to campus. After graduating from MA, Taylor attended The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University where he studied screen acting and musical theater. Since graduating from NYU, Taylor has been working primarily in film, and a short film that he has written and co-produced, Intermedium, has premiered this summer across the country. It was featured in the Stony Brook Film Festival in New York, in the HollyShorts Film Festival in Hollywood, and premiered at Birmingham’s Sidewalk Film Festival this past weekend. Taylor provided a private screening of “Intermedium” to juniors, seniors and faculty members and received rave reviews! Way to go, Taylor! Pictured from left, Drama Coach Scott Bowman, Taylor Turner, and Head of School John McWilliams.
