On June 11, 2020, the Pike Road Lions Club presented a $1,200.00 check to Stacy Dickinson of the Woodland UMC Food Pantry.
“The Woodland Food Pantry was selected because they support the entire Pike Road Community, and through them, we are able to give back to Pike Road. In addition to financial support, throughout the year, we provide non-perishable items that are donated by each member of the Pike Road Lions Club.” said club member Wendy Blackmon.
The Pike Road Lions Club supports five pillars: Diabetes, Vision, Environment, Childhood Cancer and Hunger.
“The Pike Road Lions Club Community yard sale is one of our larger fundraiser, and even thought it had to cancelled this Spring due to Covid-19, we still continue to support our five pillars,” said club member James Lee.
