2020 PRIMARY RUN-OFF ELECTION

Pursuant to §21-4-23(b) of the Code of Alabama (1975), notice is hereby given of the following with regard to Montgomery County, Alabama:

1.Instructions, printed in large type, conspicuously displayed at each voter registration site and polling place, sufficient to provide hearing impaired and seriously visually impaired individuals with adequate information as to how and where they may register and vote.

2. Each polling place shall have an ExpressVote Ballot Marking Device for use by individuals with disabilities who would otherwise be prevented from voting because of their inability to mark a paper ballot, as well as, paper ballots for the use of voters who would otherwise be prevented from voting because of their inability to operate a voting machine.

3.Absentee ballots, available to any handicapped or elderly individual who, because of handicap or age, is unable to go to the polling facility in a state election. The deadlines for requesting and submitting an absentee ballot are the same as prescribed by law for other persons voting by absentee ballot.

4.The opportunity for any handicapped or elderly individual who, because of handicap or age, requires assistance in casting a vote may select a person of his or her choice to accompany them into the polling place to assist in the casting of the vote, providing the person providing assistance is not the voter’s employer, agent of the employer, or an officer or agent of the voter’s labor union.

5.The Primary Run-Off Election will be held on July 14, 2020.

In this cause it is made to appear to the Court, by the affidavit of the Plaintiff, that TRI-STAR, LLC D/B/A BOOMERANGS, defendant(s) are either nonresidents of the State of Alabama, whose residence is unknown and cannot be ascertained after reasonable effort, or if being residents, either their residence is unknown and cannot be ascertained after reasonable effort or they have been absent for the State more than thirty days since the filing of the complaint in this cause, or they have concealed themselves so that process cannot be served upon them, and further, that defendant(s) are over the age of nineteen years.
