At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Architectural Review Board of the City of Montgomery on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., in Council Auditorium, City Hall, 103 N. Perry Street, a public hearing will be held for consideration of the following items:

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA as follows:

Section I:  That the Council of the City of Montgomery, Alabama proposes to consider the adoption of the “Technical Codes of the City of Montgomery” consisting of:   “International Building Code 2018, International Fuel Gas Code 2018; International Mechanical Code 2018; International Plumbing Code 2018; International Property Maintenance Code 2018; International Residential Code 2018; International Energy Conservation Code 2018; International Existing Building Code 2018; and International Swimming Pool and Spa Code 2018;” all of which are published by the International Code Council, (located at 5203 Leesburg Pike, Suite 708, Falls Church, Virginia 22041-3401), with certain deletions and amendments; and pursuant to the provisions of the Code of Alabama, 1975, Section 11-45-8, and will hold a public hearing thereon at the meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Auditorium, City Hall, 103 North Perry Street, Montgomery, Alabama on the 7th day of July, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., at which time all interested persons are invited to attend and express themselves upon this subject.

Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Transportation at the office of the Alabama Department of Transportation, 

Montgomery, Alabama until 10:00 AM on June 26, 2020 and at that time publicly opened for constructing the Additional 

Turnlane on SR-3 (US-31) at CR-42 (Hyundai Boulevard) to include Micro-Milling, Resurfacing, and Traffic Stripe on CR42 

(Hyundai Boulevard) from the junction of SR-3 (US-31) to the junction of SR-9 (US-331) in Hope Hull. Length 2.945

The total amount of uncompleted work under contract to a contractor must not exceed the amount of his or her 

qualification certificate. 

The Entire Project Shall Be Completed In Thirty (30) Working Days. 

A 4.00% DBE Contract Obligation Is Required.

• Replacement of existing station pumps, valves, and piping.

• Installation of approximately 2,500 linear feet of 6-inch force main. 

• Electrical upgrades, including buildings, site lighting, and generators.

• Recoating of wet wells and bypass pumping.

• Installation of new roof at Pump Station 25.

• SCADA and site upgrades, including fencing, grading and road modifications.
